The Kubarz Story

Kubarz Beverage Catering was originally founded as On Tap Beverage Catering in 2003, where we initially operated on the central coast of NSW until 2006 when it was moved down to Sydney.

From 2006 until 2010 it continued to grow at a phenomenal rate as did the support for the business and its services. On Tap Beverage Catering became the company you contacted for all corporate, private and public bar functions and On Tap as it was known worked with some of the largest and best known corporations and serviced all areas of New South Wales.

As On Tap moved towards needing to expand its operations and duplicate its very successful business model and systems to cover a greater area, the need for a fresh, new and modern facelift was needed. A marketing team was engaged and thus the exciting launch occurred with a new name, a new website, and a fresh modern look – Kubarz Beverage Catering was born.

Today, Kubarz Beverage Catering is the name that people know and trust, it has the proven systems that made On Tap so successful but with a new, modern and fresh look.

Kubarz Meaning

The name Kubarz is created using 2 words, “Ku” and “Barz”, the latter referring to the mobile “bar” service we offer and the first part “Ku” is derived from a concept from an ancient philosophy. It is considered to be the equal balance necessary to reach a state of harmony.

In essence our name stands for;

A mobile oasis for all your social event, business gathering, and party needs, Kubarz offers a unique experience that really brings a function together. The perfect complement to a special event, Kubarz helps complete the entire occasion. This holds true to the Kubarz philosophy—and the Kubarz name.

It might make you smile a little when you say it, and it should. Kubarz is a fun word wanting to bring a bit of fun into everyone’s life. It’s a cool word—a cool name. Even cooler is how well the Kubarz name fits into our vision.

Life is a combination of so many things. At its most basic level, it is both nothing and everything all at once. After all, how can we truly enjoy success, if we never experience defeat? How can one know real happiness, if they have never known sadness? There are the haves and have-nots. Life is duplicity. It is a healthy balance of opposites that makes life the exciting, vibrant, and miraculous experience it is.

Ku is a concept from ancient philosophy. It is considered to be the equal balance necessary to reach a state of harmony. This is what Kubarz is all about—helping us reach our own personal balance, our own harmony.

Kubarz finds harmony in two specific ways.

First, at the most basic and primal level: our drinks service. Drinks mixed, chilled and served to perfection by our professional and friendly staff ensuring the right mix, at the right time. Kubarz drinks — deliciously mixed and served by truly special staff. Balance achieves harmony.

Secondly, Kubarz believes that your special event is unique and requires special treatment. Our team will work with you to make sure that the atmosphere is enhanced. We are here to help bring the balance to your event—achieving harmony will serve to enhance the overall atmosphere and experience.
